Last week was long and hard to get through, but this week breezed by and was a lot of fun. I spent a bunch of time working on a creative project, that I’ll talk more about at the end of the post, and hanging out with friends. Overall: a really great week!
Over the weekend I rearranged my room a little to put my desk by a window and to put my vanity up again. I love the new arrangement and I’m looking forward to finish organizing my room so that it feels more put together. 🙂
This week was filled with a lot of good times with friends. I’ve been working a lot in January, which I also enjoy, but it’s nice to just relax and have fun sometimes too.
I had an iced caramel macchiato this week. I used to get those ALL. THE. TIME. but I’ve cut down on Starbucks trips recently. It was so good and really just goes to show that trips to Starbucks are best when they happen occasionally. I haven’t had a caramel macchiato that tasted that fantastic in awhile!
29 Simple Ways to Fall in Love With Your Life This Month // I love this post from Erica with ways that you can show yourself some love–because you need to love yourself too.
Things to Do on a Sunday for an Easier Week // My week is so much easier/less stress-filled if I spend some time on Sunday getting ready. I love this list from Summer, filled with things a few things that I do and a few things that I really should do.
Three Games to Strengthen Your Skill as a Fiction Writer // Meg put together a great list of games that can essentially help train your mind to think through plots and storylines. I loved this list!
A Beginner’s Guide to Vienna, Austria // Some of you may know that Vienna has a special place in my heart. The city has even inspired quite a few poems in the chapbook I’m working on! Shane put together a great beginner’s guide for anyone interested in visiting or just learning more about this beautiful city.
Creative Pursuit of the Week
I’ve been working on a couple of long overdue videos. They’re almost done, but I didn’t have a chance to put the finishing touches on them. (One of them was supposed to go up yesterday, but I didn’t want to rush it just to get a post up.) Keep an eye out for those!
What inspired you this week?
