10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week // the Harry Connick Jr. Edition

Reflecting on the little things that make us happy each week. // dreams-etc.com

Happy Friday!

Are you excited for the weekend? I know that I am. It has been a long and busy week, so I thought what better way to end it than with a happiness post?

1 // Puppy cuddles. They make stressful weeks better.

2 // Constant Snaps back and forth with a friend.

3 // Rain all week long. Others are tired of it, but I love it!

4 // Listening to Harry Connick Jr. every day.

5 // A fun dinner at my sister’s house.

6 // Texts with my niece all week long.

7 // A nice dinner out with my parents.

8 // A good painting session.

9 // Lots of writing inspiration over the week. So excited for some writing sessions this weekend!

10 // Seeing Harry Connick Jr. in concert. He surpassed my high expectations and someone that I know says it was the least impressive (though still impressive) concert that she’s seen of him (this was her third concert, I think). I love him.

WHAT MADE YOU HAPPY THIS WEEK?

I have not heard of Harry Connick before. Will have to add him to my music library! Sounds like you had a good week!

He’s wonderful! You’ll have to let me know what you think if you listen to his music.

I saw Harry Connick play at the Christmas Tree lighting in Rockefeller SO MANY years ago. I was a teen (at least, I think, ha). Anyway, he was so gracious and sweet and had a voice like pure honey and it was easy to fall under his spell. I’ll have to dig up some of his stuff. If you have any recommendations, send ’em my way!

Also puppy snuggles make everything better always. Especially on rainy days. <3

I would love to hear him for a Christmas concert or event sometime! I can imagine that performance was amazing! You’re right about his voice… he sang my least favorite song of his at the concert and I really enjoyed it because his voice is just amazing! I always recommend his Christmas albums first, but since it’s not that time of year yet, if you like the classic jazz songs “Your Songs” is a great album. His new album “That Would Be Me” has a great variety of songs. Pretty much anything from his fantastic, though! 🙂

Puppy cuddles are the best! That’s probably the one downside to rainy days (if you’re not in a place where you can take naps!), but they’re wonderful. I always find them to be so relaxing. 🙂

You had a great week!! I love rain for the most part but if I am at work I’d much rather be sleeping during the rain. Puppy cuddles are the best.
