WHAT MADE YOU HAPPY THIS WEEK?
[Tweet “Reflecting on the little things each week. // gratitude #lbloggers #lifestylebloggers #petitejoys”]
I’ve been de cluttering and am really quite proud of myself and that makes me happy!!
Decluttering always feels so great! Good for you!
Meeitng pups is always something good and a happy moment! Chatting and talking about book as well! A new camera bag – I need one, too! Sounds like your week was wonderful! Have a fab weekend, oh, and I talk to my pup and kitty as well! haha
I’m absolutely loving the camera bag that I got. It’s the only bag I’ve used since I got it… even if I’m not carrying a camera. It has so many pockets! I’m glad I’m no the only one who talks to the animals in my life. 🙂
I love this post! I finally had a successful day packing for my move coming up at the end of the month. I felt like so much was accomplished. Also, I finished the final rounds of editing my book for my Master’s defense! Needless to say, there was a lot that made me happy this week!
Congrats on finishing your final edits! That’s awesome!
I love this! Seeing progress in our house construction and being able to stand in our downstairs definitely made me happy this week!
It must feel so great to see progress in your house construction. 🙂
Cleaning actually made me happy this week. I tackled my tweens room and boy did it need it! LOL Im glad Im not the only one who talks to the dogs!
It always feels great when you give some rooms a good cleaning. 🙂 And I’m also glad that I’m not the only one!
What a pleasant way to start my morning. It is great seeing what makes other people smile!
Your comment made me smile. 🙂 I’m glad I was able to provide a pleasant post for you to read in the morning.
I’m with you on the after-work pet chats! Banana and I have had some deep conversations…. 🙂
Little One and I do too. It’s the best! And it’s so relaxing to come home and just decompress with her. 🙂
I love rainy days as well! So cozy and comfortable.
They are! Some of my favorites. 🙂
Puppies! UGH – I can’t they always make me so happy. I honestly should open up a puppy farm lol
Haha, me too! I’d take in all the dogs if I could. 🙂
Ooooh that Frenchie is ADORABLE! 🙂 I think I need to check out Snapchat one of these days, I feel like I’ve been under a rock. LOL.
Have a great weekend my dear! xox
Isn’t she cute? She had quite the personality too. I love her!
Let me know when you try out Snapchat. It has a bit of a learning curve, but I love it.
Oh, what kind of camera bag did you get? I’m a bit addicted to most bags, but I really love pretty camera bags. This week we’re having a lot of work done around our house, including workers tearing up and laying new flooring in our front living room, so I’ve been happy thinking about all the relaxing I can do next week.
I got the Gracie bag from Jo’s Totes. I love it! It has so many pockets! http://www.jototes.com/collections/all/products/gracie-black
It’ll feel so nice to relax after such a productive week!
#3… yess!!! The best kinds of conversations! Especially if it turns into a friendly debate!
Yes! That’s always fun. We didn’t this time, but with this book I think it was a good thing. It was more of a business-related book.
I really need to start focusing on the positives and writing them down each week. I can’t wait to see Allegiant! I’m so glad you liked it! Thank you for sharing!
It always helps me, especially if I’m feeling a little down. 🙂 You’ll have to let me know what you think when you see it. I want to go see it again!
Meeting and talking with pups is always guaranteed to bring a smile out! I love my chats with my pup.
Me too! It’s the best. 🙂
I chat with my pup all the time. I’m convinced he knows exactly what I’m saying 🙂 Awwww <3 that you can bring pups into work–or at least that someone snuck one in the office.
Ooh, any good reading recs to share!? Always looking for good books!
XOXO and enjoy your weekend!
I think my pup knows exactly what I’m saying too. 🙂 We were actually at someone’s house for the meeting, but we have been known to sneak our pups into work, especially during the summer.
What kinds of things do you like to read? Right now I’m reading a YA series called Escape From Furnace with a coworker. It’s by Alexander Gordon Smith and the first book is Lockdown. It’s about a youth prison that’s buried deep within the earth and a thief is framed for murder and put into Furnace (the name of the prison). I’m on the second book, but my coworker is already on the last book of the series and he said that it just gets better and better.
I love listening to oldie music stations! It seriously puts you in another place and time 🙂
It really does! 🙂
Yay for a new camera bag. That always makes me happy!
Hi Crystal,
Connecting with animals always makes me my day! Unfortunately, in this phase of my life I don’t have time to take care of an animal but I would love to! April Showers also made me happy this week because the scent of the flowers is more intense when the rain is over!
