Sounds like a nice week you had! I did too… Meeting with a lovely PR person, my son scoring a goal, a possible partnership…
Your first comment made me smile, because I always enjoyed dressing up for work as well and now that I’m a stay at home mom, I really miss it!
Iced caramel macchiato’s are one of my faves! Have you tried an iced chai? SO GOOD.
Sounds like a nice and peaceful week š . I also am excited for iced coffee! Spring is almost here, and THAT makes me soooo happy!

Painting over the weekend…GOOD FOR YOU!!! I love that you are doing self-care!
I think it’s really positive to focus on the things that make you happy. Have a lovely weekend.
“8 // Inspiration for a new creative pursuit.” << Those sorts of things ALWAYS make me happy!! š
Awww! Puppy cuddles! We’ve had some bad storms here lately, so our little Shih Tzu has been all about the cuddles this week! And mmm… it’s been so long since I had an iced caramel macchiato. I need to go get one now! For me, a good checkup for my daughter and reading a book I love made me happy this week.
What a great idea for a post. I love that it is simple, but still a great reminder that we should all be thankful for the little things!
Hope you have a great weekend!

Painting looks so much fun! Was that one of those paint and drink wine evenings? Regardless, looks relaxing. š
Have a wonderful weekend Hun! Xoxo
Iced caramel macchiatos yes!!!!!! I’m going to follow you on Snapchat! <3
Sounds like a good week! I should totally try dressing up for work a bit more myself. What made me happy this week was being able to take a day off during the week to catch up on some much needed rest!
Awww, what a happy list š And I love playing dressup–awesome that you get to do it at work. Also, that’s great for your niece! I always have a soft spot for anyone who fosters.
I could totally go for an iced caramel macchiato right about now. YUM! Hope you have a great weekend š
So I’m not the only one who watches Reign?! YAY! I added you on snapchat too š LOVE IT!
I’m glad you had a great week!
Mine was pretty bad but there were a few good things that helped turn it around a little.
xoxo, Jenny
I love how you take pleasure in the little things. And how could puppy cuddles not make you happy š
What a lovely week. Puppy snuggles sound awesome!
I love reading your happy thoughts! I’m glad you had a great night with people from church!
Love this list! It’s such a good exercise to think of the things we are thankful for and be sure to chronicle them. I did something similar this week, writing about the 35 place I found beauty this week. – Katy
Sounds like a fun and lovely week for you, simple pleasures in life right. I want to get back to painting so bad!!

Nice list. What I love the most is that you found joy in simple things…puppy cuddles, dressing up for work. It is truly the simple things that make us so happy. For me, getting published in Huffington Post made my week š So did the sun and blue skies… Great reminder to enjoy the simple things in life.
But of course puppy cuddles would make the cut every week, they would on mine too if I did these. š
Happy this week deep cleaning the living room even though it wasn’t in my plans.
It seems like you had a lovely week! Love your photo at the top!
Being creative makes me happy too but last week, one of my happy moments was talking with a friends teenage daughter for a couple hours and having her confide in me. I felt trusted and respected. Great feeling.
