If you were around me this week, you may have noticed that I was a little crabby this week. I didn’t have much downtime last weekend, which doesn’t make for a happy Crystal as the week goes on. I’m an introvert and need some time for myself. So this is probably the perfect time to write this post!
1 // Taking an excellent writing class.
2 // Chatting with a friend I haven’t seen for awhile.
3 // Getting caught up on First Drafts podcast.
4 // A fun blogger chat with Joshilyn Jackson.
5 // Dinner with my dad.
6 // Taking time to reflect on Ash Wednesday.
7 // A freshly groomed pup.
8 // Finding a groomer who trimmed Little One’s hair well.
9 // A fresh layer of sparkly snow.
10 // A long weekend ahead.

February 12, 2016 at 2:52 pmIt’s so nice to reflect on good things because often people find themselves dwelling on the negatives or their complaints. Very refreshing post : ) Have a lovely weekend.

February 12, 2016 at 2:52 pmA writing class sounds like so much fun, and so much different than my daily grind of grading papers! I love the picture of your sweet pup. So snuggly!

February 12, 2016 at 7:35 pmAll great reasons to be happy! I am jealous of the snow you got. I live in TX, so seeing snow doesn’t really happen. Your dog is adorable!!!

February 12, 2016 at 10:09 pmAw, sounds like a lovely week! I miss my dad, wish I could have dinner with him… we haven’t done that in ages. And snow! We got some here in Alberta too! I was surprised at how happy I was about that. With such a nice week behind you, I hope you enjoy the long weekend to finish it off 🙂

I’m interested in learning more about the writing class you’re taking! I run a creative writer’s group, and I’m always looking for tips and/or ideas.
Hope you have a rejuvenating weekend 🙂

February 14, 2016 at 1:54 amIt’s so easy to just be despondent and not focus on the positive factors of our lives. I’m really excited for this long weekend of just relaxing and no alarms to be set.
