10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week

Foshay Tower | Minneapolis, MN. // dreams-etc.com

  1. The chance to take the picture above (and the bus that broke down and caused me to miss my connection that led to it).
  2. Christmas coffees are out and I had my first iced peppermint mocha this week.
  3. I’m admitting defeat with story #1 earlier than usual with NaNo. I always like to try a new idea and it never works, but I usually wait at least two weeks before I admit that it’s not working. I’ll be able to get back on track this weekend.
  4. Puppy cuddles. I think this is always on my list, but puppy cuddles are the best.
  5. A clean desk… at work, not at home. I reorganized some drawers and it feels great!
  6. Exciting plans with a friend this weekend.
  7. NaNoWriMo buddies… that I see daily or text regularly. Accountability.
  8. A Days of Our Lives marathon, because I’m really into one of the stories right now.
  9. My niece set a writing goal for herself this month too.
  10. It’s the weekend! And that’s always a good thing.

I just cleaned up my desk at work today too, wiped it down and it looks so much better and FRESH again.

Love the picture you grabbed while broken down.

Great picture! I really need to clean off my desk and clean out my closet. That Peppermint Mocha sounds really good right about now…although, then I’d never get to sleep. Have a great weekend!

Im not a big city person, but that photo you took is really awesome of the city you were in! Nice list, so cute that your niece shows high signs of the writing staying in the family!

So are you invested in the Bo/Hope/Aiden storyline or the Abbigail/Chad/Ben storyline or a completely different one? I’m totally in love with the fact that they have brought Bo & Hope back together!!
