I keep checking the calendar to be sure that it really is the end of the week already. If this week is any indication, March will be just as much of–if not more of–a blur as February.
1 // Attending my best friend’s beautiful and fun bridal shower… and seeing her dress. It’s gorgeous!
2 // Unexpected time with my niece and nephew.
3 // A super cuddly pup after having a procedure (super routine for some dogs, first time for her) done and getting a vaccine at the vet. Little One is totally fine, but was very uncomfortable, and she accepts all sympathies (especially if they come in the form of tummy rubs). I should have gotten a picture of her extra mournful gaze the day of.
4 // Receiving confirmation from the vet that she has recovered from her injury… she’s just returning to her usual activity level at her own pace.
5 // A weekend with no plans but church. Crossing my fingers that it stays that way!
6 // Anticipation for a quick trip next weekend.
7 // Making plans for break at the end of the month.
8 // The writing inspiration is flowing! (I just need a chance to write.)
9 // I’m feeling better! Mostly.
10 // Working on a fun project at work.

March 4, 2016 at 11:36 amSounds like a good week!
This may be somewhat ridiculous, but I’ve been watching past seasons of Dexter that I never got to watch and I’m loving it. More than just loving the show, I’m loving that I’m allowing myself to RELAX at the end of the day. I’m still sitting their working on some blog stuff, but I’m also allowing myself to just watch and get into the show instead of OBSESSING about how much work I can get done on my own stuff after getting home from my 9-5.

March 4, 2016 at 12:22 pmThe food you have posted looks amazing and is making me extremely hungry! I am so glad that your fur baby is better. It’s so nice to be able to relax during the weekends and have no plans. I enjoy those weekends at times. I will be having one of those as well. I hope you have a great weekend!
