Introducing… #AuthenticFitness

Looking for a place where you can be authentic in your health goals with other bloggers? Join #AuthenticFitness, a group for bloggers who are looking for motivation and support as they seek to workout more or eat healthier... or both! //

One of my goals for 2016 is to get into a regular workout routine, stretch regularly and make sure that I get up from my desk more often throughout the workday. Basically, I want to make sure that I’m moving my body more often. But here’s the thing about me, I will get into a great workout routine, but if I have a bad week because I was busy or whatever else happens, I have a really hard time getting back into the routine. For awhile I’ve wanted an accountability partner for working out. I had one once before and it really motivated to keep on top of my workout routine.

If you’ve been looking for a health and fitness accountability partner too, look no further! I have teamed up with my friend Krysten to create #AuthenticFitness. Krysten is the founder of #AuthenticBloggers–the first blogging Facebook group that I joined–which is a space where bloggers can connect and be authentic. Building off of that, we created #AuthenticFitness, a place where bloggers can come to find support as they pursue their healthy endeavors. If you’d like to workout more or eat healthier or both, you can find support at #AuthenticFitness.

We plan to have weekly goal-setting threads, so that we can stay connected as a group, but we’ll also have a form that you can fill out so that we can match you with someone who will be your own accountability partner. We’ll match bloggers based on their goals, their preferred method of contact and how often they’d like to be in touch.

    Hey I saw this via Authentic Bloggers last night! Good for you! I never have trouble keeping up with a routine because I LOVE working out, but I think this is so great to keep y’all focused and on track! I’ll check out the hashtag for sure 🙂

    I friggin love that you guys are doing this 🙂 I seriously think it’s such a wonderful job and what a natural evolution from the Authentic Bloggers group to have a group of bloggers support each other as they reach their fitness goals 🙂
