Awhile back I reviewed the waterliner’s from em cosmetics and was disappointed by them. They claim that the waterliner won’t budge, through I found that it started to disappear and smudge after just a few hours of wear. My biggest disappointment was the packaging. While I liked that you don’t have to sharpen the pencils, the eye liner was so small that it broke easily. One of the liners that I received came broken and the others started to break with use. My best friend, who bought some during the same sale that I did, had the same complaint. Because of how easily the liner breaks, I didn’t think it was worth the price, but I absolutely loved the color of one: Bronze Kiss.
Beauty Talk: Urban Decay's 24/7 Liner in Roach

Enter Urban Decay’s 24/7 liner in Roach. I received a half-size liner in Zero awhile back and wasn’t too impressed. However I heard heard plenty of rave reviews about these liners and when I first heard about Roach it piqued my interest as a replacement for Bronze Kiss. When I finally decided to buy it the first thing that I did was swatch it and compare it to Bronze Kiss. It’s a perfect match! I did a little happy dance. I was hoping for a close match; a perfect match was even better.
The wear of this liner is wonderful as well. It’s so easy to apply and I wasn’t wiping it off my cheeks or out of the corner of my eyes throughout the day. The first day that I wore it I watched a movie that made me tear up…okay, I totally shed a few tears at the end. As I wiped away the tears I thought, I won’t be able to see how this held up. But when I checked it at the end of the day it looked really good.
It lasted well throughout the day and I didn’t experience any unsightly smudging. This gets a big thumbs up from me.
I have been trying a few of these liners and have found that not all of them hold up as well on the waterline. But once I discovered what I can and can’t do with them I fell in love with each one. My love of eye liner has returned.
Have you tried any of these liners? What are your thoughts?
