reading…
I read Where We Fall by Rochelle B. Weinstein over the weekend. This one was hard to put down–I read most of it in a day! Look out for a review next week.
watching…
Not much at all… when I’ve had the TV on I’ve been watching Charmed. But I just realized that the new season of Bates Motel has been airing and is almost over, if it has ended already. I’m not sure how I missed it, but luckily my DVR recorded all of the episodes!

I have been working on a secret project, although after talking about it in my April goals I realized that calling it my secret project probably makes it sound more interesting than it actually is. I’m… sort of having fun with it. Mostly I’m learning a lot from it.
I am embarking on a new project as well. The night before the 100 day project started I finally figured out what I’d like to do.

The PB&J palette has been my go-to for eyeshadow this month…and I’ve been wearing eyeshadow more just so that I can use it!

How important it is to have a community of like-minded people around.

A couple of different podcasts.
I have been trying to not float away with all the rain here in Texas!
Sounds like you’ve been getting a lot! Someone else from Texas commented and talked about that too.
I love secret and special projects! And I totally love how people get so excited when they hear “secret special” project because it totally makes it more exciting!
Projects are so much fun! And I think calling it “secret” definitely makes it seem more exciting, which I didn’t mean to do, but I definitely understand! That would catch my attention too!
I’ve heard Charmed is so good. I’m watching a lot of Grey’s Anatomy and should probably cool it a little. haha
Yes! Charmed is a lot of fun. It’s one of my old favorites and one I like to rewatch from time to time. 🙂 Grey’s Anatomy is an addicting show, too!
That book sounds lovely! I always love reading posts like these – they’re so fun.
xoxo, Jenny
It was a great read! I’ll be posting a more detailed review on Tuesday if you’re interested in seeing more of my thoughts. 🙂 Thank you Jenny! These are some of my favorite types of posts to read too.
I’m trying to remember… was it you that wrote a post about the TV show Reign?? I’ve been watching it non stop and I am so hooked!
I am! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! I had such a hard time when I got to the end of what’s available on Netflix. We’ll have to talk about it when you’re caught up! 🙂
I have been looking for a good read – I must pick up a copy of Where We Fall based on your suggestion!
I hope you like it! You’ll have to let me know what you think. I’ll be posting a more detailed review on Tuesday, if you want to come back to see it. 🙂
I used to watch Charmed all the time! I haven’t watched it in years though. I loved it when it was on. I have been trying to read Leave Your Mark but have not had much time to actually read. I love the PB&J palette! It’s a lot of fun. I finally got my hands on the Sweet Peach Palette. As for me I am trying to stay a float in this crazy weather in Houston.
I used to watch Charmed a lot more too, but I haven’t watched it for awhile so I thought it was time to pull it up on Netflix. 🙂 You finally got the Sweet Peach Palette! That’s cool! Do you like it?
I’m so with you about learning how important it is to have a community of like minded people around you, that’s why I love this blogging community so much! It’s like having cheerleaders in the game of life! I’m also loving podcasts right now. What are your favorites?
It’s one of the reasons I love the blogging community too! I love how you described it! It’s totally like having cheerleaders in the game of life. 🙂
I have been wrapped up in Tanis lately. Nick, the host, is researching a myth called Tanis and he interviews people, etc. It’s presented as a piece of narrative journalism like Serial, but is fictional (although they don’t come right out and say it… I’m assuming it is, though, because it’s put out by the same people who do The Black Tapes, which is the same as Tanis, just a lot creepier). Other than that I’ve been loving What Should I Read Next by Anne Bogel of Modern Mrs. Darcy. What are some of your favorites?
I am always looking for new books to read! I just read the little blurb on Good Reads and have marked it want to read! Thanks!!
I totally agree! Community makes such a difference!
That eyeshadow palette looks awesome. I’ve heard great things about Too Faced but never tried their products. Smashbox is my favorite but maybe when it runs out I’ll try this one :]
I like Currently posts. They give a little bit of a what’s going on in my life look into bloggers! Thanks so much for sharing!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying your PB&J palette! It has such pretty colors!
