My dad says that every August he catches his annual fatal summer disease, except this year I think he’s managed to avoid it. I, however, sound a little like he does when his AFSD hits.
But let’s back up to the beginning of the week, when I was healthy. I don’t remember what happened on Monday, which probably means it was probably a typical day. I think I finished writing the rest of my posts for the week (which turned out to be a good thing, otherwise it may have been a quiet week on the blog). I spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen on Tuesday and took Little One for a walk a little later than usual. It turned out to be the perfect time because there were no other people and dogs out for a walk at that time. We came across a family having a lawn party that looked like a lot of fun. Little One wanted to join, but I wouldn’t let her and we came back home. I spent the evening going through the posts for the day from Write On Con. On Wednesday it all went downhill. I woke up with a bit of a sore throat and came home from work having used up an entire box of tissues while I was gone. I went into work for about an hour on Thursday to finish a few things and now I have the weekend off to sit on the couch with Little One watching Dawson’s Creek and reading books.
How was your week?
