I’ve fallen out of the habit of sharing monthly goals on the blog, but I always love when other bloggers do, so I thought I’d start sharing again. Instead of sharing long lists, I’m going to keep them simple. One or two goals to guide the month is the perfect amount to keep me motivated and working throughout the month without being overwhelmed.
1 // Find my groove with the writing project I am revisiting.
I’ve found that how to set writing goals varies based on the project, so I need to find out what’s best for this one: word count goals or time goals.
2 // Drink more water.
I haven’t been drinking enough water lately and I need to get back into the water-drinking groove. (Apparently groove is my favorite word in this post.) I’m one of those who loves water–it’s my favorite thing to drink. So I don’t why it’s been such a struggle lately. But like I said, it’s time to turn that around. At the beginning of January I started to leave a full tumbler of water by my bed and that helped get the day off to the right start. I’ll start doing that again.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE MONTH?
[Tweet “My goal for February is… #goals #monthlygoals #februarygoals”]
It’s good to keep it simple sometimes. I sometimes make long lists of goals and then get overwhelmed.
I usually do too, so it feels good to keep them simple right now. 🙂
I love the idea of only having two goals to focus on…I have the habit of making long lists that I never seem to accomplish. Drinking more water is ALWAYS a goal of mine as well.

I usually do too, so it feels good to have more realistic goals this month. 🙂 Good luck with your goals!
I’m always trying to drink more water! I use that app my FitnessPal and it tells me when I need to drink more water!
I should look into that app! I’ve been doing a lot better this month, though.
Grow the blog to having 1,000 followers across social media and at least 500 views! Other than that I’m going to try and shave off 5-10 pounds this month!

Great goals! Good luck with them this month. 🙂
Great goals for this month! I love how you kept them simple. I wish I could do the same. I would really like to be able to read more. This has been a goal of mine for months and I have failed completely. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this month.
Thanks! I generally go overboard with goal setting so it feels good to have simple and achievable goals. 🙂
I constantly remind myself that I have to drink more water. That’s definitely a goal of mine too.
Good luck as you try to drink more water! I’ve been drinking more this month and it feels good!
Short and simple – I like it! Sometimes creating too many goals can create a sense of overwhelming chaos. I wrote about my blogs today on my blog as well and tried to keep it simple too!
Yes! I always feel overwhelmed when I make too many goals. This is perfect.
I’ve been working on drinking more water as well and I’ve been drinking 5+ bottles of water a day 🙂
Good luck with your goals and thanks for linking-up!
xoxo, Jenny
That’s amazing! Good job! 🙂
Thanks! And thank you for hosting the linkup.
Dear goodness, I totally need to join you on the drink more water bandwagon!
I’ve been doing a lot better this month! 🙂
lol My word was wagon for my post for my 2016 goal post lol
I drink so much water, but it would be good to up mine too.
It’s funny what words come to mind over and over when writing a post. 🙂 I’ve definitely been drinking more this month and it feels good to be drinking more water again.
Drinking more water can be difficult to adjust to at first, but I’ve found the more water you drink the better you feel overall. 🙂
Definitely! I’ve been keeping on top of it lately and I definitely feel better. My skin looks better too. 🙂
