After sharing pictures from an old vacation to Florida last week, I thought it would be fun to share more beach pictures, specifically these pictures from a very different beach to the trip. These were taken in New Jersey in 2011.
My family and I decided to go to the beach for a walk in the morning and as we approached we saw that it was incredibly foggy. It was eerie to walk along the sand and wait for the ocean to appear. It was so atmospheric that I knew I wanted to remember it. Of course, I took these pictures, but I also wanted to be able to think of that morning and remember what it looked like by memory so that I could draw on it for inspiration while writing. And I see these pictures in my mind when I think about it.
I’ve always been fascinated by fog; it even inspired a story. What about you? What are some of your favorite foggy memories?
