For Halloween one year I had to dress up as a Christmas present.
- The Christmas present was bigger than the tree. It would have been hard for my friend to walk if the pine needle garland had been wrapped around her legs, so she wore all black and had pine needles wrapped around her shirt. (Although, now that I’m thinking about this Christmas tree thing, if you were able to wrap the pine needles around a hoop skirt, you could dress up as a floor-length Christmas tree AND you’d have the Christmas tree shape. You can thank me when you win a best costume award using this idea.) My Christmas present box was huge and ended below my knees. This didn’t present a problem when walking down the street because a box that big only inhibits movement when you walk up stairs.
- Most of the houses in my neighborhood have stairs leading to the front door. By this I don’t mean that they have a step or two; they pretty much have a flight of stairs. Walking up to the front door of all of these houses was pretty difficult and by the time I made it home my wrapping paper was tearing off of the box.

LOL!!!!!!!! I just might.
I have trouble remembering what I dressed up as for trick-or-treating. I think I was a pirate one year, and a witch, and a black cat. Apparently I was very into generic costumes!
