This is a day early, but I have another post scheduled for tomorrow, so here is my review of September.
// WATCHING
I started watching season one of Madame Secretary and am really enjoying it so far, although I’m not too far into it. And I’ve been watching reruns of Friends. Once you start, you can’t stop! 🙂
// READING
I was on a horror kick this month, which slowed down at the end of the month when I had some books for review and the book club to read.
// LOVING
That fall is almost here. School is in full swing, the leaves have started to change color and fall, seasonal coffees are in coffee shops… now all we need is for the weather to change. I was told it’ll start to be fall-like today, so here’s hoping!
// LISTENING
To mysteries on audiobook.
// DOING
Watching indie movies to unwind at the end of the week. What are your favorite indies?
// LEARNING
A lot about social media. I’ve been tuning into social media-related webinars most weekends this month.
// MOVING
Not too much, unfortunately. I was hit with a cold that had me in bed after work at the beginning of the month and, while I got over that pretty quickly, my foot has been bothering me a lot this month. Goals for next month: implement my workout routine again.
// YOUR FAVES
The quick story: my dad came up with my blog name.”
>> The Real Me vs. The Online Me
But when I talk about organization, the things I talk about are things that I do when I’m on top of things. And I’d like be more organized all the time, or at least more often than I am. The organized me that appears on the blog is the person that I strive to be.”
Today’s prompt for the blogtember challenge is five books that have impacted my life, but I think I’m going to do a slightly different twist on this. These books haven’t changed my life in a grand way, but they’re books that I return to. I have read all but one of these books multiple times and the one that I’ve only read once I think about often and will definitely reread in the future. These are books that inspire me and that I can just soak up. They’re filled with characters and plot points that stay with me.”
I don’t actually have a bucket list. I don’t know why, but I’ve never actually liked the idea of them and have always “rebelled” against making one, if you can rebel against writing a list. 🙂 I’ve always felt pressured by the idea of a bucket list, like if I put something on the list I have to be actively working toward it all. So instead, I have a dream list to share; things that I would like to do one day. A bucket list, under a different name.”
I’m so excited that fall is here!!!
Me too!
My September was BUSY and now October is shaping up to be even BUSIER!
I’m hoping for a slower-paced October. The last two months were so hectic, that I need a little break. 🙂
I’ve also been re-starting the whole Friends series. So addictive once you start. 🙂
It is! One day I wanted some background noise and thought I’d be busy for 15 – 20 minutes, so I thought a Friends episode would be perfect for that… now I’ve made it through season three.
I’m on an audiobook mystery kick too!
I LOVE listening to mysteries on audiobook. What have you read… well, listened to… recently?
