Hello, everyone! Little One on the blog, today. What’s shakin’?
I didn’t get to write anything for the blog last month. Did you miss me? I missed all of you and I’d be pretty upset about not being given my usual days on the blog, but August was a stressful month, so I’m giving my writer a pass. But then she told me that she didn’t think I’d be able to write on the blog in September, either! I know! Rude, right? She said she’s participating in something called the Blog-tember Challenge (which I’m also supposed to tell you that you can read more about here) and she said that I wouldn’t have the opportunity to write because of it.
So I told her to look hard and find a way to fit me into the schedule. And she did! Even better, I get to introduce her to all of you!
This is my writer! Her name is Crystal. She’s 29-years-old so, you know, she’s getting old. Five days a week she abandons me to go to work at a church and school. I’ve visited her there before and it’s okay. I don’t know why thinks work is a better way to spend her day than giving me tummy rubs, though.
I kinda like her… but don’t tell her that I told you that.
A couple of years ago my writer was struck with genius and she decided to get a dog. That’s how I came into her life. She calls me Little One on the blog, but my real name is Mina. I have my writer trained to give tummy rubs whenever I look at her with my sweet eyes and roll over. It didn’t take long!
Sometimes she ignores me to do something that she calls reading. She basically stares at an inanimate object for long periods of time. I don’t really get why she does it. Sometimes I try to train her not to “read” but sometimes she gives me a tummy rubs while reading, so I’m still undecided if this is a behavior that I need to put a stop to.
She also has this habit of doing this thing called writing…it’s why I call her my writer! This is another habit that I feel like I should train out of her, because she doesn’t always spend time with me while she’s writing.
We live in a state called Minnesota. Sometimes it’s cold here and sometimes it’s not. We prefer the cold weather, though.
I rarely leave Minnesota, but sometimes my writer likes to get way. This another habit I’m trying to train out of her and it’s the worst of them all because she leaves me for days at a time. I don’t know what’s so special about the mountains (or the ocean) that she’s willing to abandon me for a few days to go see them, but she says she really likes to travel.
Well, that’s enough about my writer. Tell me something about you!
Until next time, friends, keep those tails waggin’!
Little One
