Hello, everyone! What’s shakin’? Little One on the blog today.
I know…. it’s been FOREVER since you’ve had a chance to hear from me, the number one reason why you visit this blog. I don’t know why my writer hasn’t given me a chance to write for awhile, but this time I didn’t give her the chance to say no, because I have some news.
I have taken on the job of caretaker of a tiny human.
You see, the other day my writer was ignoring my requests for tummy rubs as she cleaned the house. And later that day, when she finally stopped, a family member arrived. I have met this family member before, but this time was different. She brought someone along with her.
The strange thing is, it looks like a human and it kind of smells like a human, but it’s smaller than me. I know! Crazy, right? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a human that was smaller than me before.
And since the human looks so tiny I thought that as protector of the house, I should keep an eye on him. I like to check on him while he sleeps. (He sleeps as much as me!) And if he cries, I make sure one of the other humans does what he wants them to do.
It’s kind of cool to help take care of the tiny human, but sometimes my writer won’t let me. She tells me that I’m being “too helpful.” What does that even mean? How can somedog be too helpful? So whenever that happens she takes me into a different room and shuts the door. I press my nose up to it, like I always do when I want to get out, but she doesn’t care. She just looks at me and giggles. I know! So rude!
She tells me that I remind her of Nana from something called Peter Pan, because Nana was a nursery dog that liked to take care of bigger, but young humans. I’ll take that as a compliment!
So, that’s what’s been happening with me recently. Tell me, have you ever seen a tiny human? What did you think?
Until next time, keep those tails waggin’!
