Hello, friends! Happy Monday!
I experienced a bit of blog writing block for awhile. In January I started to put a lot of pressure on myself about blogging and in February I said goodbye to a relative who became ill and passed away, so I felt pretty unsettled and wasn’t able to focus on much other than work during that time.
So finally last week I just told myself to stop putting pressure on myself and just have fun with blogging… so that’s what we’re doing. I wanted to share some photos from the last few months and look back at the little things. They’re the things that got me through February. There aren’t that many for two months. They were what they were.

The year started with tummy rubs and a photo of Mina.

And Tino. The look on his face. 😂

My family spent time at my sister’s and she made homemade peanut butter cups, that were really good.

I had my first coaching session and had to take a photo of the mess that was beside me. I felt behind and unorganized for most of January and this is just a visual representation of that. The suitcase was actually closed until about five minutes before my coaching call when I realized that the notebook I wanted to use for it was in the suitcase. 🤦🏻♀️

A friend and I spent an afternoon at the University of Minnesota to film a video… which you should be seeing soon.

Any time cuddling with this pup is the best. And a good book to go with it.

Took a moment to look up on an early morning.

💙💙💙

A friend of mine was in a rodeo at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul (she’s a barrel racer), so I met up with her outside the city so that I could ride in with her. Here’s a view of St. Paul.

I saw this quote backstage and loved it.

It was so good to see my friend… and to see Lily again. Look at that face! 😍

It was also a really, really cold night.

Spent a weekend with this sweet pup and those sweet little forehead creases.

Had my second coaching call and felt much more with it this time. Instead of racing to find my notebook right before the call I had a chance to set up the diffuser with an uplifting oil blend.

These brussels sprouts tacos were 👌🏼.

A cozy pup on a bitterly cold night.

She’s not a fan of boots, but I made her wear them on some of the coldest days we had this year.

I always love hearing my niece play the piano.

I had grand reading plans one week, but my uncle was put in ICU and I made a trip out to visit my family and see him instead. I took them with

Wishin’ and hopin’ for tummy rubs.

I thought of all the reminders on Instagram to look up while on my way to visit my uncle.

While there I got to spend time with Charlie and Chip.

And enjoyed seeing how this view changed each day.

Squirrel watch.

Grabbed a churro latte on my way out of town and it was delicious.

I welcomed Morticia to the plant family. We’ll see if I can keep her alive. 🤞🏼

And I took my niece out for the Valentine’s Day date I had to reschedule (spent Valentine’s Day with my aunt instead). We went to see Happy Day 2U.

And we had snow.

So much that even the snow dog wasn’t sure what to do with it.

There’s a lot of it.
So, that was the beginning of my year. I’d love love love to hear more about yours. What happened in your life? What were some of the highlights? What were some of the lows, if you’ve had some of those too? I’d love to hear more about what got you through.
