Little One’s Adventures // Dreaming of a White Christmas

Hello, everyone! Little One on the blog today. What’s shakin’?

Little One's dreaming of a white Christmas. // dreams-etc.com

You know what song I’ve been hearing a lot lately as my writer plays Christmas music pretty much non-stop?

Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling, “You hoo”
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

Giddy-yap, giddy-yap, giddy-yap, let’s go
Let’s look at the snow
We’re riding in a wonderland of snow”

That’s right! Someone named Harry Connick Jr. has been singing non-stop about a winter wonderland, so what I’m wondering is… where’s my winter wonderland?

One day we got some snow and I had so much fun rolling around and burying my head in it. It was glorious!

But then it started to go away and now we have… nothing. Nada. Zip. There is no snow in my yard and Christmas is coming really, really soon. Aren’t we supposed to have snow for Christmas?

Well, if you’re looking for me, you can find me staring out the window crossing my paws and hoping for snow. And if I don’t have a chance to say hi before Christmas or New Year’s, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Until next time, my friends, keep those tails waggin’!

Little One

[Tweet “Little One is crossing her paws for snow & I am too! In her yard, at least.”]

PS – If you’re interested in listening to “Sleigh Ride” by Harry Connick Jr., check out my writer’s Christmas music playlist!

      Aw look at herrr! *dies*
I’ve never even seen snow. šŸ™ I wish we had the possibility of a white Christmas here in Australia, rather than 40 degree (Celsius!!) days we usually get. I love the heat, but I sure would like to see snow. sigh.

Love this. Love your little one. I always love the photos of them looking through the window. What ARE they thinking! I miss having pets at Christmas for some reason. Happy Holidays!

Ugh. I’m with Little One – where in the world is the snow! It’s mid December. I had hopes my sons and their cousins could sled while they’re together, but it’s not looking so good right now.

On this day I was tired after a long week and my least favorite holiday. My bed was oh so comfortable. I forced myself to roll out of bed and journey to the dam. It was filled with people and I was pokey…taking my time to get there and even journeying down one of the other paths to avoid walking across the dam. (Which isn’t long.) I finally joined the crowd and walked across. And then came back, happy to have made my weekly journey. This is when the top layer of the water started to freeze.
