I thought I’d give a new workout update as it’s been awhile since I told you what I’ve been up to. And yes, I have new workout plans for the rest of 2014 and I’m really excited about them!
New Workout Plans for 2014

First off, my walks. You might remember that when I first got my Jawbone I was getting in one to two walks per day at work through the skyways and those continued until mid-June. I really enjoyed them, but my walking buddy needed to stay off her feet for a bit and there were some corridors on our walk that I didn’t want to be in alone, as they were pretty quiet. And, of course, with my new job I will no longer be in the downtown area with the skyway system to walk through, so those are officially over.
Earlier this year I fell in love with Tracy Anderson’s Mat Method Workout and thought about sticking with her method as my primary source of exercise. (I say primary source because I have other forms of exercise, like Zumba and belly dance, that I love and will use to supplement my workout plan whenever I want to.) But I never sat down to come up with a plan.
As you may have guessed, I have come up with a plan! I will primarily be working out with the Tracy Anderson Method for the rest of the year. Throughout the summer I will be going through her beginning/introductory DVDs and then in the fall I will purchase her Metamorphosis program, which is a more personalized workout to target your problem areas. I thought about assigning workouts to certain days of the week, however before I settle on that specific of a schedule I think I should get into my new job and see what my week is like as I may find that some days are better than others for workouts.
Of course, I will be blogging about it along the way!
I’ve been using some of the DVDs for awhile now, although not too much within the last two weeks, so I already know that I’ll enjoy the workouts that I’ll be doing for the next couple of months. I’ll start reviewing the DVDs that I’m using soon.
Have you ever done the Tracy Anderson Method?
