Happy Friday! Who has exciting plans for the weekend? My plans are mostly work-related, so not too exciting at all. Someone go out and have fun for me! Or stay in and have fun for me… that sounds more like me. #introvert 🙂
1 // The 100 Day Project.
If you missed my Currently post on Wednesday, I mentioned that I’ll be participating in The 100 Day Project by taking a photo a day. I’m excited to start taking photos of the every day moments of life again. I’ve missed those.
2 // Vacation Planning.
In my seasonal wishlist for Spring I mentioned that I might be planning an adventure. I booked my airplane tickets over the weekend, so it’s official now! I probably won’t talk about it too much until the time arrives, but it’s coming up soon and I’m getting excited about it. And it’s out of the country! It’s been awhile since I left the country and I’m so excited to explore a new place.
3 // Blog Brainstorming.
I did some massive blog brainstorming this week. Like, big picture kind of brainstorming. I wrote a new about me page and came up with a vision statement. It feels good to finally have the thoughts that have been floating around my mind on paper! I have some people looking over it now and I’m excited to receive their feedback.
4 // Started a Book Club at Church.
The women at my church and I recently started a book club. I’m excited to read the book that we are going to be reading and discuss it with them!
And speaking of book clubs, the Dreams, etc. Book Club is getting a bit of a revival. I’ve taken it off the blog, though, and all discussions will be held in the Facebook group. If you’re interested, go check it out!
5 // Rain on Thursday.
It was raining most of the day yesterday. It was a really nice rain too. It was the kind of rain that makes you want to sit next to the window with a hot beverage and a book. It was beautiful! (Even if I stuck in the office throughout it.) I also had to smile when I saw a tweet noting that it rained all day in Minnesota on Thursday. Because of Prince. It was a sweet, poetic thought.
WHAT WERE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR WEEK?
ps – last week’s peek at the week.
Kudos on starting a book club! And for all of your blog brainstorming! I am slowly getting my big picture ideas on paper too and you’re right! It feels so good once they’re out of your head!
Sounds like some exciting stuff going on! Vacation planning is one of my favorite things to do, I hope you have a great time wherever you are going!
Ah, now I’m super curious where you’ll be traveling! New blog things are exciting! I tweaked a bit with some of my blog as well. The 100 project sounds fun – looking forward to seeing your photos! Have a wonderful weekend nonetheless! xxx
How awesome that you started a book club! That’s always exciting! I can’t wait to hear about your upcoming trip. I really need to re-do my About Me Page and come up with a vision. I honestly would not know where to start.
Many everyone is getting some rain it seems. I know we really needed it here but its flooding up in Houston. Yay for finalizing vacation plans! Exciting!
This is great Crystal!
I just did a major rehaul of my blog and some serious business goal planning. Spring has a tendency to do that to me! I hope you have a great weekend 🙂
Writing an about me page can be tough, but I know I felt so accomplished once I had mine finished. Kudos to you for having a blog brainstorming session! 🙂
Um, first of all that dog is so cute!
I did a lot of blog planning this week too. I finally got my self hosted site going, and I felt pretty proud of myself for managing that with kids creating chaos around me. :p
Cute post – I love celebrating the simple things. 🙂 Highlight of my week was definitely meeting with the monthly girls discipleship group I lead. We’re coming to the end of studying “Set-Apart Woman” by Leslie Ludy & our meetings are always so sweet!
You’ve got a lot of fun and exciting things going on! I dream of being in a book club but I’m pretty sure that means you have to finish a book. I’ve been reading one for six months now! Ooops. So no book club for me yet but it does sound exciting! I love having blog brainstorming sessions. It’s an amazing feeling to spend that time focusing on something you love then getting it out of paper. Once I write it all down i’m inspired to make it all happen. I have a feeling that great things are about to happen for you!
