I hope you are ready for some pictures! The other day I decided to transfer all of the photos from my camera to my computer and realized that I haven’t done that since the beginning of December last year! The few months that I went without a battery charger and, therefore, an uncharged battery didn’t help, but wow! It’s been awhile. So, I decided to share some of them with you. Below are photos from December, 2011.
Each year my friend Ari and her husband put together a group of four to read from an adapted version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens around the holiday. The first time they put the reading together, I was able to attend and I loved it more than I can possibly say. I haven’t been able to attend since then so last December as soon as I heard about it, I immediately put it into my schedule. It was so cold and snowy that night; the perfect night for a reading of A Christmas Carol! This was taken in the parking lot of the church that hosted the reading.
Below, the “Congratulations!!” photo was taken at the hospital the day that my coworker had a baby. My boss and I had to visit the little guy right away!
I made this ornament when I was young and I always make sure that it has a prominent place on the Christmas tree. 2011 was the first year that I didn’t put it on; even though the treat is really old, I didn’t want to risk The Dog nabbing it.
My last day at my previous workplace.

July 6, 2012 at 5:08 pmAbsolutely love the pictures of Jinni and those delicious looking holiday treats! This makes me yearn for winter… but I suppose I'll have to just find things to enjoy in summer. 🙂

July 8, 2012 at 2:20 amThank you! I love the pictures of sweet little Jinni, too. And the treats! I will definitely be making some of those for the holidays again next year. Not pictured, but enjoyed immensely by my family, is the gingerbread biscotti.
