It’s been awhile since I’ve written a gratitude-related post, so I thought I’d participate in Thankful Thursday, a link-up hosted by Megan Whitmer.
I thought it would be so easy to write this post today. It’s been a great week and there’s a lot to be thankful for. But when I sat down and started to think through what I’m thankful for, the usual things/people came to mind. I’m thankful for the puppy, because she’s wonderful. I’m thankful for my family, because they’re awesome.
As I sat in front of my computer sipping tea I realized what it is that I’ve been thankful for this week that I haven’t written about before: tea.
I’ve had a cold. All week long. It’s been more of a nuisance than anything else, but the nuisance came with a terrible sore throat and more coughing than I’d like. I don’t like cough drops but I almost picked up a bag this week until I decided to drink more tea.
You guys, tea has been fantastic. It soothes my throat, it’s nice and warm on some of these cold days, and it’s delicious! I also rediscovered an old favorite, Spiced Mandarin Oolong Tea from Teavana. I’ve pretty much had a cup of this on hand all week.
