I had a lot of fun this week with Thanksgiving Week and I hope you did too! Here’s a recap of posts for the week.
6 WAYS TO PULL YOURSELF OUT OF A FUNK WHEN YOU’RE FEELING A BIT CURMUDGEONLY
Jess from Exactly Jess said that blogging and music can help pull her out of a funk, as well as shopping and slowing down.
Krysten from Why Girls Are Weird said that going for a drive and singing out loud to good music will pull her out of a funk.
Mia from The Chronicles of Chaos said that she likes to unwind and read. (That’s another one that really helps me!)
5 WAYS TO CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING
Mia from The Chronicles of Chaos said that her family goes to her mother-in-law’s for Thanksgiving and each person brings something for the meal. That sounds like a great way to have a stress-free Thanksgiving for everyone!
Krysten from Why Girls Are Weird said that she and her husband like to get the food started and spend the day watching Christmas movies, putting up Christmas decorations and playing board games. That sounds like the perfect day!
Esther from Local Adventurer highly recommended a gratitude jar. The gratitude jar idea was appreciated by Steph of Stephy Shoots, too.
WHY I STARTED TO INTENTIONALLY THINK ABOUT THANKFULNESS
I didn’t put the disclaimer that I would share thoughts from this post, so I will hold off. I almost didn’t publish the post (but I’m glad I did!), so I’m not sure if everyone would want me to share their thoughts. But, definitely go check out the post if you’re interested, because I think it’s one of my favorites from the week. 🙂
THANKSGIVING SIDES & DESSERTS
Charlotte from The Midnight Blog said that she made the butternut squash and kale dish and that she really enjoyed it. Now I want to make it even more!
WHAT I’M THANKFUL FOR
Julie from Pop Champagne said that writing brings her joy too.
Krysten from Why Girls Are Weird said that she’s thankful for her three sweet (and adorable!) pups!
Mia from The Chronicles of Chaos said that her family, books and writing are at the top of her list. And cupcakes. (That’s a good one!!)
Have a wonderful weekend!
