The Sunday Currently #12

A friend of mine was married today and the ceremony was absolutely
beautiful. I was so honored to be there and to be able to help her
throughout the morning. It was a wonderful day and I am so happy for her
and her husband!

READING Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, by April Genevieve Tucholke. I’m about halfway through right now and I’m incredibly intrigued.
WRITING the usual: blog posts and my book. I didn’t get as much actual writing time in as I usually do over the week, but I’ve been reading Susan Dennard’s blog and she has some fantastic writing advice. She talks about keeping a writing notebook for each story and she uses it to plot out the scenes that she needs to write before she sits down at the computer. I started doing that and now my time at the computer is so much more productive. And on the days that I don’t have the time to write, I’m able to plan out scenes while I’m on the go, so I still feel productive.
LISTENING to Little One snoring beside me. She’s so sweet!
THINKING about what a great wedding that was. Seriously. So beautiful. And it was a Jewish ceremony, so it was cool to sit through a wedding that I’m not completely familiar with.
SMELLING MAC cosmetics. Well, not anymore, but this morning when I did my friend’s make-up, we used all MAC cosmetics. I know that there are people who don’t like the smell of MAC, but my friend and I both do, so when I opened the make-up we both sighed.
WISHING lots of best wishes for the happy couple.
HOPING that I get more writing time in this week. I’m so inspired right now and all I want to do is write. I don’t have much going on this week so I should be able to.
WEARING black pants and a black and gold blouse for the wedding.
LOVING the MAC concealer palette that my friend has. It has every possible concealer that you might need for covering up redness, dark spots, under eye circles, highlighting. You name the problem, this palette has a concealer to cover it up.
WANTING more time in each day. There’s just so much that I want to do and, of course, I want to do it all right now!
NEEDING to do some ballet. Probably not today, because I spent the morning running around, but this week I’ll definitely get some ballet sessions in.
FEELING tired. A great tired, though! I will sleep well tonight.
