1 // Spending at least a year at Glacier National Park to watch it go through the seasons would be a dream come true. (Luckily I can live vicariously through the Rangers who manage my favorite Facebook page.)
2 // I could see myself moving to Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana. I’d be a regular at Bonsai Brewing Co., because a dog-friendly brewery that also has yoga against a mountain backdrop is #goals. I’d also be a regular at the juice bar/salad shop at the hostel I stayed in, because everything I ate and drank there was delicious and the sisters who own it were so much fun to talk to.
3 // If I lived in Whitefish I’d make sure to go explore all the nooks and crannies of Kalispell to find the unique artisan shops that sometimes appear on the Instagram feed of a Montana-based photographer that I follow.
4 // When I was younger I always dreamt of glamorous and tropical vacations. Now my top travel destinations are colder and rugged.
5 // So maybe I should take up hiking or something that would make me feel less out of place in REI so that I fit into these rugged destinations more.
6 // But I’ve never been one to try and “fit in” so maybe I should just keep on being me. And being me would mean going to these rugged destinations with a camera and a notebook.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR WANDERLUST THOUGHTS?
ps – Glacier National Park & Whitefish.
I still dream of tropical vacations–mostly because I live in Western NY…so the weather here in winter is pretty rough. I love that you shared these bits for us to learn a little more about you. Definitely keep on being yourself; why fit in when you can stand out! 🙂 Happy Monday!
I find myself attracted to waterfalls. I want to go anywhere with a waterfall. I would love to go to Glacier National Park as well. Seems so beautiful.
I dream of tropical vacations all the time! Taking up hiking sounds fun! I love going on hikes!
Happy Monday, Crystal. xxx
I love rugged travel! Something so fun about it, and it really feels like you’re accomplishing something…not that there’s anything wrong with a beach trip, either.
I totally agree – I used to always dream of Tahiti or Bermuda or something. But these days, a cabin in the woods or in the mountains sounds more my speed. Someplace cold and cozy so I can sit in front of the fireplace. 🙂
So much wanderlust! I’m dying to explore more of Europe!
I haven’t been out West too much, but what I have seen of it is gorgeous. I really hate cold weather, so I’ll have to do more exploring during the summer months. 🙂 I’m definitely still on team tropical vacation since I LOVE beaches and palm trees!
I would love to hike on a mountain where it’s cool. I would usually go to the beach so a hike would be nice for a change.
I think I dream of all vacations, I love Europe and getting to see all part of of the world, but I also love the tropics! 🙂
I’m also more attracted to cold destinatinations than warm, tropical ones. Althoug maybe if I did take a warm, tropical vacation, I would change my mind! 🙂
