Hello everyone!
Someone stopped by for the weekend and as usual, he was a blast to have around. My friend Sarah was also over this weekend and she got a kick out of him. When he found one of Little One’s Halloween toys, he played with it for eight hours straight, only taking breaks to go outside, eat and drink water when he got a little parched.
I was incredibly productive this weekend but when I sat down to write this post I realized that I didn’t actually do much from my list of Weekly Wishes last week. Oh well. I’m extremely satisfied with what I accomplished so I’m fine with it. Last week I wanted to: 1) Organize my tea and tea ware. [Done!] 2) Sketch out an idea for a Minnesota Mermaid design. [I didn’t get to this, but I did stock up on and organize all of my art supplies.] 3) Work on a web project. [I did a little bit, but not as much as I was planning to do.] 4) Read two books. [I made progress on the two books that I’m reading, but I didn’t finish them. I’m currently reading LEFT DROWNING by Jessica Park–I’m a big fan of her Gourmet Girl cozy mystery series so I thought I’d give her self-published books a try; and GLASS by Ellen Hopkins–the sequel to CRASH, which I loved last month.) 5) Keep going strong with the 30 Day Shred. [Done! I put extra effort into my workouts last week and over the weekend. I can definitely see how much my fitness has improved this month. And after tomorrow, I am done!)
This week I would like to:
1. Finish the short story that I’m working on.
2. Pull out my paints and put them to use.
3. Finish watching the lessons in my online Fashion Drawing class.
4. Read ALLEGIANT by Veronica Roth (which finally came out today!!).
5. Finish one of the other two books that I’m reading.
What are your wishes this week? Link up with Melyssa at The Nectar Collective to share and see what other people are saying.
😮 Fashion Drawing class sounds like fun! Any drafts on hand yet?
It is! Not yet. But hopefully after this weekend I will! 🙂
Good luck with your wishes this week Crystal – they are really lovely ones! You've inspired me to also get my creative on so thank-you 🙂 PS, Fashion Drawing course?! Sounds awesome!
Thank you! And you're welcome! 🙂
It is! The artist teaching the class is incredibly talented and the one lesson that I've watched has already been incredibly helpful.
You sound like me! Often I start more than one book in a week and go back and forth….Glad I'm not the only one 🙂 Can't wait to hear which book you finish this week!
