Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? You’re all probably tired of puppy pictures since I put them in every post, but this is how we spent the weekend. I had a slight cold so Little One and I spent the weekend sitting with books and hot beverages. Little One was very attentive and looked up every time I sneezed, even if she was mid-snore. I finished a couple of books (Left Drowning, by Jessica Park and Glass, by Ellen Hopkins) and worked on NaNoWriMo.
I haven’t participated in Weekly Wishes for a couple of weeks but want to get back into it. It always makes me feel more productive to be able to do a check-in at the end of the week. This week I would like to:
1. Catch up on NaNoWriMo. I’m a little behind (more on that later) so I’d like to get caught up by Monday so that I’m back on track.
2. Frame the last two prints that I need to hang so that I can put them on the wall. After that all I need to do is tidy a few surfaces and then I should be ready to show you what I did during my room redecoration.
3. Read Fallout, by Ellen Hopkins and one other book. I don’t know what that other book will be yet; I’ve never been good at planning my reads, even when I try. I always change my plan in the end.
4. Workout for at least five hours throughout the week.

You're doing Nanowrimo!? I loved doing that in high school!!! I think I may have done it two or three times in a row and you feel /so/ accomplished. Best of luck!
I am! If I had known about this in high school I would have loved it! I don't even know if they were doing it when I was in high school. Thank you!
One of my goals is to read more, too! Writing about it definitely helps me hold myself accountable more for actually doing it. I can also relate to your second goal, as I recently finally got a bunch of prints and stuff I'd be hoarding framed. It felt so good to finally get it done! Good luck & have a great week!
Sometimes it's so hard to fit reading in with everything else that I want to do, but it's so important! I'm hoping that writing will make me more accountable too. It must feel great to have that all done! Hopefully by next Monday I will be done too. Thanks, you too!
I'd like to get over 25,000 by tomorrow in NaNo, get a few engagement pictures ordered and framed for Christmas presents, and get your fireplace working again! I'm COLD.
I just read your NaNo update and you are so close to being at 25,000! Yay! I really need to get my fireplace working again too, which shouldn't be too hard because it's a gas fireplace so all I need to do is put new batteries in the remote. But for some reason I keep putting it off. Good luck with your goals this week!
Oh my word! Your pup is so beautiful! I have a cocker spaniel and cannot get enough of their cute faces. Good luck with your weekly wishes and thanks for stopping by my blog!
Thank you! They do have the cutest faces! I love how cavaliers always look so sad, yet their tails are wagging so fast they're a blur so you know they're happy.
