Happy Monday, everyone!
Do any of you have straight across bangs? I randomly decided to get them earlier this year and even though I like them, they are driving me CRAZY! There is one little section that always sticks out and I don’t know how to tame it. Any suggestions?
It’s time for the first Weekly Wishes of February, which means that it’s time for my monthly goals. I have my goal for The 2014 Directive, of course, but there are some other things that I would also like to accomplish and they all fit around one theme: organization. I would like to organize the following things:
1. My bookshelf. This also includes pulling out books that I know I won’t read again. Let’s face it, if I’m not going to read the book again I shouldn’t hold onto it and let it take up space. If I ever have a house with a room for a Beauty and the Beast library, I will worry about filling it at that time. I don’t need to start preparing for it now.
2. Bins. I have some bins of stuff that I packed up when I had the carpets cleaned before Christmas and I haven’t gotten around to unpacking them yet. I’m sure some of the stuff in the bins can be thrown away too, but I need to go through them and empty them.
3. Computer. My inbox, internet bookmarks and the folders on my computer. Going through all of these is long overdue!
You may be wondering why I decided to pack all of these tasks into the shortest month of the year. The Olympics are quickly approaching, which means I will be in front of the TV quite a bit. And this week I need to clear out my DVR in preparation for the Olympics. I’m one of those people who usually needs to be doing something while I watch TV, so I thought what better way to be productive than to start to go through some of these things that I have been putting off for ages. I don’t know if I’ll accomplish all of it, but we’ll see.
What are your goals for February?
