Weekly Wishes #31

I saw the first sign of spring this weekend: an older man who walks his two miniature dachshunds when the weather is nice. And today I noticed just how much the snow is melting! In fact, it’s almost completely gone. There are a few patches of snow in the yard, but other than that you can see the grass on the ground. It’s not a pretty sight yet, but it’s grass, so yay! You know what else you can see? Squirrels and birds and people and all sorts of other animals. Little One feels the need to bark at each one. And buried acorns are poking through the grass and the dirt. Little One feels the need to dig up each one.

Getting back into the swing of things after a week off is always hard. I always have so many things on my mind that I just need to sit down and write some to do lists in order to feel on top of things. Does anyone else do this to organize? I guess it’s fitting that it’s time for Weekly Wishes with all the to do lists that I’ve been writing.

1. Finish reorganizing my bookshelf. My bookshelf has been torn apart for way too long. It’s time to put it back together.
2. Work with Little One on new tricks every day. We haven’t worked on any new tricks for awhile so I think it’ll be fun to start again.
3. Read for at least a half hour before bed every day. I have a couple of library books that I need to get through.

What are your goals for the week?
