Last week we had a taste of warmer weather. For a few days you could comfortably move around without a jacket and it was just…warm. (Although if I’m being honest, after some of our coldest days this winter, 20 degrees felt balmy.) Today it’s a little chilly and I heard some complaints about how cold it is and how cold it will be for the rest of the week. I had to smile because I was a little disappointed too until I realized it’s only halfway through April. I’m just happy that we aren’t getting snow.
Do you ever feel like you write down your plans for the week in a Weekly Wishes post and then promptly forget what you were going to do? I totally forgot about two of the tasks that I wrote about last week (organizing my bookshelf, working on training with Little One). I did read a half hour before bed every night, though, and that was really nice. It’s a great way to relax after a long day!
This week I want to keep my Weekly Wishes simple.
1. Work with Little One on new tricks every day. Yep, let’s try this one out again.
2. Take some time to do some spring cleaning. It’s that time of year! I’d like to go through the house and do some spring cleaning. Maybe I’ll finally organize my bookshelf too. It’s only been on my to-do list for… a month. Maybe more. It would be nice to have everything done by Easter. The bookshelf doesn’t have to be, but everything else would be nice.
3. Practice an up-do and plan an Easter outfit. Speaking of Easter, I need to decide what to wear to church. Also, I know how I’d like to do my hair, but I should try it out ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute, like I usually do. Less stress on Sunday that way.
What’s on your to-do list for the week?
