Each week, as I participate in Weekly Wishes I love it more and more. There are a lot of great people involved and it helps keep me accountable. It also helps me decide what’s most important early on so that I can plan the rest of my week around those goals.
How did I do last week? I spent ten hours working on my writing. I really like shooting for a time limit over a word count because it makes writing much less stressful if the words aren’t flowing as usual and because it’s less stressful, I get more written. I cleared off my work table so that I have a place to work on one of my goals for this week. I also wanted to pull out my hot rollers and that didn’t happen. I didn’t go anywhere on Saturday so I decided to wait until Sunday so that I could use them before church. I ran out of time getting ready so I decided I’d try them out in the afternoon, but I used so much hairspray on the haphazard bun that I threw my hair up in for church that I didn’t want to put heat on it afterward. Oh well. Another weekend.
So, my goals for this week. A couple of them will be a little different than usual.
1. Write for 10 hours.
2. Complete one final design for Minnesota Mermaids.
3. Drink at least 4 bottles of water per day. I haven’t been drinking enough lately and I need to so I want to drink at least four bottles.
4. Workout at least 4x this week. I haven’t been making exercise a priority the last couple of weeks so this week I will.
What are your goals for the week? Link up over at The Nectar Collective if you’d like and see what everyone else is up to!
I also have writing goals, atleast ten minutes a day.
Good luck with all your goals for this week!
Writing my goals has been good in keeping me accountable as well.
Its like I know I'll have to write an embarrassing post about how much I failed the week before, if I don't do a good job checking things off.
yay for social pressures!
And I'm obsessed with mermaids – like its out of control, so I am interested to figure out what your whole Minnesota Mermaids bit is about.
Way to rock it, girl, with the writing!!! 🙂 And I love weekly wishes, too! It really has been holding me super accountable. And this week, even though I'm still avoiding my goals, haha, I'm thinking about them way more often! So that's good!
Good luck! 🙂

My friend I DEFINITELY need to take inspiration from you and drink more water. I don't drink nearly enough.
