It’s Weekly Wishes and I’ve kind of been dreading writing this post. Why? I only accomplished one of my goals.
I didn’t get all ten hours of writing in last week, I didn’t complete my design (I’m still working on one of the elements) and I didn’t go through my shoes. I actually started going through some other things that have been on my to-do list and I did a lot of cleaning, so I still feel accomplished, just not in the ways that I planned to be a week ago! I did get my four workouts in, though, and they felt GREAT!
My Weekly Wishes are going to be a little bit different this week because I’m only going to make one. I actually surprised myself when I came up with this and I’m drafting the post Sunday night so that I can’t change my mind during the day on Monday.
So, what’s my one weekly wish? I will only put five things on my to-do list each night.
I’m pretty sure that I talked about this the first week that I participated in Weekly Wishes. I am the queen of to-do lists and I make massive to-do lists that I don’t have a chance to finish. I’ve always had this idea that if I can set five overall goals for the week, with five tasks each evening to complete those goals, I should be able to have manageable to-do lists that I can accomplish. So, this is my attempt to see if that works.
I should note that I have tried this many, many, many times in the past and I always find some sort of excuse to add just one or five more tasks to my lists. Either that, or I go crazy with the ands so that “one” task will read: Do this and this and this and this and this and that.
We’ll see if I can accomplish this!

I might just have to steal that weekly wish…I too love to do lists and it seems like I never get anything done. What are you writing?
I think thats a brilliant wish.
I am the same way, with long rambling wishes that are absolutely impossible.
Then I get discouraged, and do all 0 of them.
LAME.
Here's to hoping that works for you
(and if it does, maybe I'll try it next week.)
Oh that is an interesting one! And a great wish, especially when we're living in the age of information overload!!! Good luck 🙂
Haha, I relate to this wish because I do the SAME THING! I write a billion things down and get through like half of them and then pout because I didn't knock it all out. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemies, especially when we don't see how much of a Wonder Woman we really are with what we DID accomplish.
Good luck on this goal and don't forget to celebrate YOURSELF because I'm sure you are doing awesome.
I think this is an AWESOME idea! I hope it works for you. 🙂
