Debut YA author Michelle Hodkin released her book The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer last month. When deciding whether or not to buy the book or get it from the library I read a few reviews that made me a tad on the impatient side. So, I bought it, and I’m glad I did as I see this book being one that I will read again in the near future. I haven’t finished it yet, but I am intrigued by it. I have my theories on what’s taking place; some have already been proven wrong, some have been proven right, some are still up in the air.
A few of the characters have captured my attention. I absolutely love Noah and knew I would from the brief moment in which the reader first meets him. He’s the type of character who you know will have many layers and I, for one, couldn’t wait to start peeling them! And there are Mara’s brothers, who I absolutely adore. Mara doesn’t grab me quite as much as those three, but I do like her and am greatly invested in what happens to her, these three just have a little bit of an edge.
I love it when I get intrigued by a book early on!! The earlier the better lol And well, this book trailer totally looks like a movie trailer!!
And, I want to address the comments you've left me recently 🙂 I would love to know more about the Letter from an Unknown Woman, so please do send me an email when you get a chance! I am sorry in advance though if I don't get back to you right away – things are bit crazy here work wise. And I understand about not wanting to spill the party thing, so no worries 🙂
